Buhari Returns To Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday returned to Abuja after a two-day working visit to Niger and Chad Republic respectively.
The president’s spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed the development, saying that the president is now back in Abuja.
Buhari made his first official foreign trip to the two countries to discuss cross-border violence and specifically held talks with his host counterparts on the Boko Haram menace and how to curtail the activities of the insurgents, by forging a common front on the cross-border crisis.
The insurgency, which assumed violent dimension in 2009, has claimed more than 15,000 lives and rendered millions homeless.
