El-rufai Appoints #Bringbackourgirls Leader, Hadiza As Chief Of Staff

Kaduna State Governor, Mr. Nasiru El-rufai, has appointed Hadiza Bala-Usman, the co-founder of the #Bringbackourgirls group, as his Chief of Staff, in what appears to give credibility to the allegation by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was behind the #Bringbackourgirls campaign, which pressured government to free the Chibok school girls abducted by the Boko Haram.
A statement Monday by El-rufai’s media aide, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, also indicated that the governor had appointed two other aides to assist in the running of the new administration.
Bala-Usman, a development expert, had served under various committees of the All Progressives Congress at national and state levels, and was an active member in the campaign to rescue the Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram.
She had in 2011 contested for the House of Representatives under the defunct Congress for Progressives Change in Musawa/Matazu constituency, Katsina State and lost.
She had also worked with the Bureau for Public Enterprises and UNDP, and is a Director, Good Governance Group (3Gs).
Other appointees were Bashir Dabo, Special Assistant, New Media, and Mrs. Amina Saude-Mohammed, Personal Secretary to the governor.
