The change Katsina People yearned for had surely come- Governor Masari

Katsina state governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has pledged to reposition the state, assuring people of the state that the change they yearned for had surely come.
Addressing a gathering on Friday shortly after taking an oath of office, Masari said the new APC leadership would ensure a radical break from the past, noting "Tt is no longer business as usual".

Masari said the APC administration under his watch would "be prudent, accountable, transparent and will be guided by the rule of law" even as he urged people to be prepared to make sacrifices.
He admitted that the challenges ahead are enormous insisted that the time was ripe for a new approach and mindset to issues of governance.
The governor said his administration will focus on critical areas of agriculture, education, water supply and health among others and assured that in few days to come, people of the state will begin to witness radical changes for the better.
"My mission is to restore Katsina state to those glorious days where education and agriculture were the pride of our people"  he said, adding "we will work even harder to uphold the trust of the people
Governor Masari and his deputy, Mannir Yakubu took oath of office at a well attended inauguration ceremony which took place at 35,000 seater capacity Karkanda Stadium in katsina metropolis.
Immediately after administering the oath of office by the state chief Judge, Yusuf Abdullahi was followed by inspection of parades.
