House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara and other All [progressive Congress (APC) members in the House have arrived the State House in Abuja for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting, being held at the New Banquet Hall of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, is expected to resolve the lingering leadership crisis in the House. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also in attendance.
The APC National Chairman of the APC John Odigie-Oyegun, National Deputy Chairman (South-West) Segun Oni and the spokesman of the party, Lai Mohammed also attended the meeting with President Buhari which last for only 20 minutes.The meeting started at 5.40pm and ended at 6.00pm
House Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila led members of their factions to the meeting.
The meeting was expected to resolve the simmering leadership tussle in the lower chamber of the National assembly.
