Katsina State Governor Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari on Friday, launched the distribution and sales of assorted fertilizer at subsidized price of N1,780 to farmers in the state.
Speaking at the launching ceremony at Farm Service Centre in Kafinsoli Town, Kankia Local Govt Area of the State.He called on farmers to take advantage of the subsidy programme saying as the population of the country continuous to grow, government must take the
agricultural sector serious in other to
diversify the economy.
Governor Masari Informed the Gathering that his administration is
determined to exploit the agricultural
sector to create jobs and reduce poverty especially amongst youths of the state.
