Governor Masari Sacks Heads Of 5 Agencies

Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari has terminated the appointment of chief executives of five parastatals in the state.
The executive officers shown the way out by the governor included general manager of Katsina State Transport Authority, Alhaji Gambo Rimi and his Hotels Board counterpart.
Others included the executive secretary of State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Alhaji Hassan Rewayau and the executive director State Library Board, Hassan Tukur.
According to a statement signed by the secretary to the state government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, the governor also approved the sack of the general manager of the state owned Farmers Supply Company ( FASCOT).
The terse statement noted that the sack was in line with Governor Masari’s resolve to reposition the agencies for “effective and efficient service delivery” as part of measures to restore the lost glory of the state.
