Governor Masari Pledges To Take Katsina Next Level

Katsina State Governor Rt. Honourable Aminu Bello Masari has reiterated his commitment to the development of human resources through the resuscitation of the educational sector in the state. He said that no society could develop above the level of its human development, which in turn is subject to the level of its education. Governor Masari made these observations when he hosted the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Harry Purwanto and his Nigerien counterpart, Malam Mansur Hadj Muhammane today shortly after the world famed Katsina Sallah Dunbar. Presenting the envoys with souvenir, added that his administration had prioritised education, agriculture and health being the three most important sectors of the economy without which no society can achieve greatness. In addition to that, the Katsina State Government would also leave no stone unturned to address the issue of security in the state, he assured, promising that Katsina, being one of the most peaceful states in the country, would become even more peaceful by the end of the year. Seeking the cooperation and support of his guests' respective countries, the governor said his administration was prepared to partner with like-minded nations to take Katsina to the next level of development, especially, given the vast human and material resources the state is blessed with. He assured potential partners that in Katsina state they would find a partner willing, ready and able to walk its talk. Responding on behalf of the two ambassadors, Mr. Purwanto of Indonesia thanked the governor for the lavish hospitality anf generosity accorded them and assured that their countries would welcome the opportunity the partner with Katsina state.
