Katsina State Governor, Rt.Hon Aminu Bello
Masari will depart for India today for a five-day
invitational visit to the Asian country.
The governor, along with some key government
officials, is travelling to India on the invitation of
a group of companies that specialise in the
manufacture of agricultural, health, water supply,
irrigation and other technical equipments.
Two of the companies are Mahindra & Mahendra,
one of the leading manufacturers of tractors and
other farm implements in the world and Indian
Technical and Economic Programme (ITEP), which
provides support programme for civil servants.
Governor Masari and his team will meet with the
officials of the companies in Mumbai.
Those who will accompany the Katsina State
governor include the Chief of Staff, Hon Dikko
Umar Radda, Special Adviser on Intergovernment
al Affairs, Dr. Lawal Usman Bagiwa, Special
Adviser on Agriculture, Dr. Abba AbdulLahi
Malumfashi, Senior Special Assistant Special
Duties, Alhaji Haruna Musa, Chairman House
Committee on Agriculture, Hon. Mustafa
AbdulLahi Sabuwa and Bello Mohammed Funtua,
Director of Agriculture in the Katsina state
Ministry of Agriculture.
