It is unfortunate that after the just concluded APC National Convention, where some centrifugalforces insisted that the ever hard working cerebral Former National Women Leader, Dr Ramatu Tijani must go, even through manipulation, some low lives have chosen to continue to propagate their spurious lies that she did nothing whiles on the saddle. Fortunately, Dr Ramatu Tijani, being who she is has left everything in the hands of God, hoping that those who desperately wanted her out will focus on appropriating their ill acquired position and allow her to face her new endeavour. But no, they and their allies are consumed in their hatred and will not stop peddling lies about how she couldn't solve their individual problems; even when it was obvious that the party did not place such resources at her disposal.
Even without funding for her office, Dr Ramatu Tijani did what her opponents will ever difficult to rival. We are waiting to see how much of their personal resources they will put into funding party activities as Dr Ramatu Tijani did.
It is on record that in the course of the women mobilization efforts in the lead up to the 2015 general elections:
1. Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu purchased, printed and distributed Thirty Thousand (30,000) Clothing-wrappers with PMB pictures to about Thirty Thousand (30,000) women across Nigeria. Paid out of her pocket, running into tens of millions of Naira in order to aid the mobilization of APC women.
2. She distributed Books, Stencils and School bags to Primary school pupils within the FCT and Environs in demonstration and support of the free education program as enshrined in the constitution of the party, APC.
3. She also distributed APC branded Bags of Rice, T-shirts, Face caps and APC Aso-oke (Head gears) in their thousands to enhance the electoral fortunes of the APC.
4. She was everywhere with President Buhari campaigning; in the rain, and in the sun, to appeal to both lettered and unlettered Nigerian women to vote for our dear President and the APC in the 2015 elections.
5. She sponsored the Free Mama Kit for all Pregnant women for distribution during Antenatal clinics in Abuja and environs in the lead up to the Presidential election. .
6. She completed and tiled Orphanage schools, provided food stuffs, Generator sets, Slippers, Towels, Diapers, Infant formulas, Treated Mosquito Nets, Buckets, Toothbrushes in hundreds to Motherless Babies homes and homes for the less privileged. All without funds from the party.
7. She mobilized APC women and visited the IDP Camps on several occasions to donate Food items, Matrasses, Slippers, Bags of rice, Cartons of Spaghetti, Maggi cubes, Palm Oil and Groundnut Oil, Buckets, Treated Mosquito Nets in hundreds to give succor to the down trodden all in the name of PMB and APC.
8. She sponsored many Primary Common Entrance and Secondary school WAEC/ NECO and provided food for many students all in the name of the party.
9. She never stopped nor waited until it is available. In company of APC women, she took succor to the homeless Mother of the Benue Triplets and many other displaced victims of the Benue Flood.
10. She mobilized APC women to organize Roadshows, Carnivals, Processions and Match for PMB on several occasions and at different locations.
11. Throughout Ramadan periods (even under recession) when the down-trodden felt the pain like never before, she established several feeding centers for thousands of less privileged to feed during Sahur and Iftar.
12. Likewise to the Christian faithful, always played the role of a Mother and a hope of the Hopeless as she used her Charity Outreach to distribute branded Bags of Food stuffs, branded Cartons of Spaghetti, Dairy products, Clothes and Basic necessities to the Churches, Christian centers and Neighborhoods to put a smile on many faces, and touched many lives during Christmas and New Year periods in order to endear her party APC and PMB to the hearts of many Nigerian citizens.
The point must be made that the publicity and logistics components of the women mobilization campaign alone exceeds the ₦50,000,000.00 referenced above. Indeed what is apparent from the foregoing is that she expend her personal resources in the mobilization of women and even youths in her quest to ensure maximum support for President Buhari. She became poorer and not richer in the office but she was satisfied with the contributions she made trying to support President Buhari and the party.
And in case anybody is wondering why one who didn't earn any salary from the party expended her personal hard earned resources on the campaign of Mr. President, wonder no more, it is an open secret within the APC family that President Muhammadu Buhari is not only a father but also a mentor to her, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu whom he has taken under his wings from the very inception of her political career. Her loyalty to PMB knows no bound and will therefore spare no expense to ensure his success.
Unlike her detractors, she will not play to the gallery just to invoke the favour of Mr. President because she is not a fair weather politician.
We therefore urge the peddlers of this unsavory and baseless allegations to retrace their steps and engage and focus on handling the office they have acquired by all means.
BETTER DAYS AHEAD
We are happy to be in the vanguard of Dr Ramatu Tijani believers and in the great future that awaits Nigeria.
We want to use this opportunity to tell the whole world that the outcome of APC National convention, especially as it relates to the re-election of Dr Ramatu as the APC National Women Leader, is consistent with democracy. We did not lose, it was only an opportunity to show our commitment to the progress of our party. The intrigues and turns and the outcome is definitely not a reflection of popular opinion on our team lead(Dr Ramatu) but a decision occasioned by elements who in are in no less struggle for superiority. But we are way ahead of that.
Hence, we urge all Nigerians to get ready for THE REAL DEAL. We are in for a higher calling and Dr Ramatu Tijani, our Cerebral Amazon and leader is getting set for the task ahead. Don't dwell in the past, the urgency of the moment calls for focus and determination on THE TASK AHEAD. We are talking about a task more relevant and honourous. In the coming days, Nigerians will be lining up to join us and to identify with Dr Ramatu Tijani and her ideals. We urge all party fatefuls to take their position and make themselves relevant for THE NEXT LEVEL. We can only be judged by our RELEVANCE and ACTIVE CONTRIBUTION and not by occupying a position.
Dr Ramatu Tijani is in HIGH SPIRIT. We are glad to let all concerned Nigerians know that we have been to her MOUNTAIN TOP and our eyes have seen the GLORY AHEAD.
In the meantime, whiles we are waiting for official announcement of the journey ahead, we will not allow anybody to rubbish our collective brand; Dr Ramatu Tijani. As our TEAM LEAD, we have the obligation to continue to protect her brand, hence she represent our brand. It is a collective and it is symbolic to us.
There is a lot of work ahead and we trust Dr Ramatu Tijani to lead our battle. DON'T FORGET THE NEXT LEVEL BECAUSE OF THE REAL DEAL.
