President Tinubu Speaks On How He Stopped Planned NLC Protest, Says He's Working On Palliatives For Subsidy Removal



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has opened up on how he was able to convince the Organised Labour to shelve the planned protest over the removal of fuel subsidy.

Tinubu said: “You want money increase in palliative, transportation what are you protesting about? Are you sharing part of the subsidy? if you protest, I will join you and protest and they stopped. No protest.

Tinubu also assured that palliatives to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal were being worked out

He said, “Palliative we will get but we have to save the money in order to embark on palliatives.
