FCT: Wike releases his plans for 2024

 

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has outlined his plans for the new year.

The former Rivers State Governor pointed out that the successes recorded in 2023 under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu will serve as a blue print to implement the development agenda for the FCT.

Wike, in a New Year message to the Federal Capital Territory residents noted that over the past few months, his administration had made significant strides in various sectors.

He said the efforts of his administration have been directed towards enhancing infrastructure, ensuring effective urban planning, bolstering healthcare facilities, improving education, and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

According to Wike, in the year ahead, the FCT Administration will commit to implementing robust policies and initiatives that will bolster the development of the nation’s capital and ensure that it continues to thrive as a model of excellence in all ramifications.

He said his plans for the New Year includes the areas of Infrastructure development, economic empowerment, social welfare, sustainable development, community engagement, Inclusivity and security.

Wike urged residents of the FCT to join hands with the Administration in its effort to build a stronger, more prosperous, and harmonious capital territory.
