The CHAIRMAN of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, commended His Excellency Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development within a short period.
Executive Chairman AMAC stated on 21st February, 2024 at the flag off ceremony of 5km Road construction in Saburi 1 and 2 by His Excellency Barr. Wike the Minister of Federal Capital Territory .
Ebonka said: “it is with profound and honest intention that I welcome you all to Saburi Community to flag off the construction of 5km Road my Mr. Project - Barr Nyesom Wike, CON
" it is true that this road has generated bad fate for the people of this community for the past decades, thus the tough and terrible encounter they have seen and experienced, especially in rainy seasons have always made them doubt if Saburi is part of FCT. However, as their Area Council Chairman, I have always felt their pains whenever they paid a courtesy visit to my office, lamenting on their predicament concerning this road. But at this juncture, I want to commend them for their endurance, perseverance and patience throughout the hard times, and as well use this opportunity to inform them that the Almighty has answered their prayers by sending Mr Project to Saburi today.
"My Mentor - Sir, today is a very significant and remarkable day is the people of Saburi because their long awaited requests and demands have been met via your pragmatic, tremendous and unprecedented leadership as the Minister of FCT.
"Today, I must be thankful and appreciative to you for this kind gesture that will trigger and provoke enormous socio-economic activities and other developmental strides in this area. Indeed I salute your candor and interest to develop FCT to the best of your abilities, thereby making it a great place for the inhabitant.
'Furthermore, I want to use this medium to inform you the project master that, the residents of FCT are unanimously happy for having you. This is because your zeal, availability and dedication to develop Abuja is uncommon. Therefore, as my Boss, I will always follow in your footsteps, theeby using the resources available to continue the good work in AMAC to augment your effort in no small measure.
"Your Excellency, consequently upon the traffic of Gwagwa - Karimo and Deidei Road, I am pleading as a son of the soil, privileged to be the Executive Chairman under your watch to say that the above named road is in a bad state, narrow and required expansion for the road users, this it is the commercial, economical and every other business activities in FCT. Sir, I will be very much happy if this special request to expand this road by equalizing it is obliged with dispatch.
"in conclusion, the inhabitants of Saburi have admonished me to tell you that you are God sent to them; and that your extraordinary and exceptional work in Rivers State is already replicated here in FCT, on this note, the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President is fully manifest across the FCT. May the Almighty continue to support and strengthen you.
